Gilmore Girls

And the honest answer is that cutting this show defeats it. Gilmore Girls is a hangout series - the episodes where nothing much happens are the episodes. What comes out is only what published skip lists actually name: a dozen widely-disliked hours, most of them in the final season the creator had left before writing. If you are looking for a way to watch this in half the time, there isn't one.

Only the hours where something changes: the schools, the engagements made and broken, the inn burning down and reopening, Rory leaving Yale and coming back, and the last three episodes. This is the opposite of what this show is for - it strips out exactly the hanging around that people watch it for - but if you want the story and not the seven years, this is it.
