How to use the filler list
Choose the correct series, enter the absolute episode number and check the result before a jump. Streaming “seasons” can divide these shows differently, so an entry labelled season four, episode one is not the number this tool needs.
Every episode outside the listed filler ranges stays in this route. That includes mixed adaptation/original episodes and material classified as anime canon. The lookup does not tell you to cut individual scenes from a retained episode.
Two easy mistakes to avoid
Do not skip straight from Naruto 135 to Shippuden. Keep Naruto 141–142 and 220 under this classification; they contain material that the source does not classify as pure filler. The last stretch is not one undifferentiated block of optional episodes.
In Shippuden, keep episode 28 and mixed episodes such as 56, 89–90, 113 and 362. A long anime-original stretch can end with a chapter that reconnects to the adapted story. The number at each boundary matters.
Where to go next
Watch the retained Naruto episodes in ascending order, finish at 220, then restart the numbering with Shippuden 1. Finish Shippuden through 500. Naruto and Shippuden together have 720 numbered television episodes before any optional cuts.

What if I enjoy the side stories?
Watch them. The list is for viewers choosing an adaptation-focused route, not a list of bad television. You can also keep a favourite detour and resume at the next numbered episode; nothing here requires you to make every possible cut.
Classifications are editorial and can differ across guides. If another source marks an episode as mixed or its opening clearly continues what you just watched, keep it. Saving an episode is less useful than losing the thread.
