Succession

Succession is as tightly plotted as television gets and there is nothing to remove - the one episode critics single out as weak still moves the endgame. This path keeps the complete catalogue in order.

For catching up rather than for a first watch. The succession itself - every vote, every betrayal and every funeral - with the manoeuvring between them summarised. You will lose the comedy, which is half the reason to watch it.
