Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: The Continuing Story

Not a way to watch SVU in 27 episodes - it is the thread underneath it. SVU's cases close inside the hour and the show is built to be dropped into, so what continues is the people: Benson and Stabler's partnership and its end, the William Lewis arc, Noah, the ADAs, and the arrivals and exits that changed the room. Follow this to catch up on the ongoing story or to find the episodes that are actually about somebody. Deliberately incomplete: seasons 2 to 4 and 24 onward are not mapped yet, which is why there is a long jump after the pilot. That is a gap in the research, not a verdict on those seasons.

For a long-time viewer catching up on what they missed, or anyone who wants the character story rather than the casework.
